4-H Activity Update
Happy Summer!
It’s a little damp out there today, so hopefully there will be lots of work happening
on record books and projects this week! As a side note, for fair setup night August
3rd, we will NOT be doing the potluck BBQ. Please make your own arrangements for food
that night. Please get your entries done on FairEntry.com by July 1. If you get them
in after that, it’s a $5 late fee per member and you have to come in to the office
to take care of entries. Late entry deadline is July 8th. No entries will be accepted
after July 8th. As always, please call me with questions! 406-580-9303

4-H Photo Class
Attention all 4-H photo members!! Time to pickup your cameras and your project books and head over to Kate Loose’s home, 608 2nd Ave West ~ Hobson MT. There will be a class on July 6, 2020 at 6pm.
DOG CLINICS
Fair time is arriving quickly! Here are the dog clinic times for July. All clinics
take place at Erickson’s at 6pm on the
following Fridays. July 10 & 24, 2020.
RANCH HORSE CLINICS
Only 3 more clinics left for Ranch Horse. These clinics take place at Erickson’s on
Thursday at 6pm. Call Erlonna
if the weather is questionable. July 9, 16 & 23, 2020
SHEEP & GOAT CLINICS
Sheep and Goat members, clinics are coming to an end, only two left. These clinics
are at Deegan’s on Mondays
at 7 PM. If the weather is questionable please call Sigrid. July 6 & 20, 2020
MINI TWEEN TRIP
A Mini Tween Trip is planned for July 9th & 10th to Helena. Space is limited. At this
time the trip is full. If
you would like to be on the cancellation list please let us know and fill out a registration.
Deadline for the trip is
July 3, 2020.
MONTANA 4-H CONGRESS
Remember that 4-H Congress is going virtual! Virtual events and activities will take
place during
the regularly scheduled congress week, July 6-10, 2020. Good luck and enjoy this new
format for 4-H Congress!!
4-H STATE HORSE SHOW

MAKE IT WITH WOOL CONTEST
Leave time for the Montana Make It With Wool contests this fall. District contests
usually take place in October
and November of the year followed by state and National. Check out the flyer in this
newsletter!
CENTRAL MONTANA FAIR &
4-H RANCH HORSE SHOW
The Central Montana Fair is scheduled for July 22-25, 2020, in Lewistown. The 4-H
Ranch Horse Show will take
place on July 15, 2020 starting at 8:00 am. You may pick up a CMF Book at the JBC
Extension.
GEYSER LUCKY CLOVERS
Reminder to all Geyser Lucky Clover members. There is a meeting every Friday with
your leader to work on
specific portions of projects. Contact Suzanne with any questions you may have.
STANFORD SCRAMBLERS
Scramblers are you ready for a fun filled meeting? Put July 7, 2020—6pm on your schedules.
There will be a
meeting, picnic and swimming at the Stanford City Park & Pool.
UTICA SAPPHIRES
Fair is getting closer! There will be a meeting and project tour for the Utica Sapphires
on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at
