Fair Back Drop Photo Contest
Due to Extension Office by April 15th, 2022
Here's another fun contest to show off your creative photography side!
We are looking for a good, eye catching photo to make a new backdrop for the Medallion Photos!
Here's the rules for the backdrop photo contest:
- High resolution Photos
- No people in photos
- Landscape Photo Layouts
Not a rule, but a thing to keep in mind when out taking photos for this contest... try to keep photos simple!
"Busy" photos that have a lot going on in them will be a distraction! We want the Medallion Winner and their winning project to be the main subjects of the photo!

4-H Record Books Tips - Part 3
Writing your "My 4-H Story"
"My 4-H Story" is suppoed to be a story all about your 4-H year whether it is about a trip you went on, an experience you had over the summer, fun things you did with your animals, or even different tricks you learned when working on your project.
Here's a couple tips to help you write your "My 4-H Story":
- Personalize it
- Write your story as if you are talking directly to the reader
- The story should have four parts and be no longer than two sides of one page
- Write about yourself
- Write about your projects
- Share any experiences you had with your club members
- Write about fun things that happened during your school year
- Write what new things you have learned and how they helped you
Your "My 4-H Story" does not have to be just about your 4-H projects. If can be about anything that happened during your 4-H year! Make it fun to write and fun to read!
Swine Tagging and Weight Deadline
Weights due to Extension Office by Friday, April 15th, 2022
Swine Weigh Deadline is rapidly approaching!
Katie and I are requesting that 4-H tags be put in the LEFT ear this year. Putting the tag in the left ear will make it much easier for us to read tags during Fair Weigh-IN.
When sending us information be sure to include weights, photos, and breeder information (Name).
Thank you!
